Pengaruh Senam Yoga Dan Kompres Hangat Terhadap Penurunan Tingkat Dismenorea Pada Remaja di SMA Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu

Abstrak

The problem of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) is a problem that is often complained of when women come to doctors or health workers related to menstruation. This condition can get worse when accompanied by unstable psychological conditions, such as stress, depression, excessive, and excessive sad or happy state.
This study uses a Quasi Experiment Design with Control Time Series Design. The samples were taken using proportionally stratified random sampling with the number of each the experimental and control groups were 22 female students. This study uses a research instrument in the form of a pain scale measurement sheet NRS (numeric rating scale) to determine respondents in experiencing dysmenorrhea. Data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariate using Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney.
The results showed that there was a significant effect between yoga on changes in the intensity of menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) with p-value = 0.034 <0.05. So that yoga and warm compresses can be applied as an alternative in dealing with dysmenorrhea.
The results of this study are expected to be input for SMA Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu to provide counseling to students at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu City regarding female reproduction, especially dysmenorrhea and how to handle dysmenorrhea.
